Spent my 145 crowns down to 5 on the first wave and then got told to dress the line — recruit, then place, then live with it. Teaching the two halves in that order, with one prompt at a time instead of a wall of text, is the cleanest onboarding I have seen in a browser entry. 'Losses carry forward' sitting at the top of the screen does a lot of quiet work too.

Love the visuals, and the music is fitting.

I will point out the difficulty of Act II.

I have attempted many times, with various combinations of troops, or miners, or turrets, and it was not until I scrolled far right and studied the enemy castle’s production, I realize there is simply no way to keep up with their output. Around 10 minutes in, the enemy castle is sending hundreds of gold worth of units in a single spawn, and very frequently, thousands or even tens of thousands of gold in a single minute.

I’m not sure if you or the team have done much testing in Act II, but I urge you to consider the absurd amount of miners needed to keep up with even the mid-game of the act, let alone what may be in the late-game, which I simply can’t reach because of the difficulty therein.

As I’ve attempted to count, a single miner gathers gold at a rate of roughly 2.75 per second. This either needs to more than double, at least 6.75+ OR the spawn rate for the enemy castle needs to drastically weaken. One of these would make it manageable, but as it stands I can’t make it further into the game evaluate it fully.

Looks like a fun project, and hope it hasn’t been given up on. Best of luck 👍
